Hypothekarbank Lenzburg (HBL) is a Swiss bank that is highly recognized for its innovative approaches in the finance sector. At the moment, HBL is the only bank in Switzerland that has a complete API to give innovative Fintech companies access to its core banking solution.

Situation & Goal

Like many other companies, HBL is currently struggling with the shortage of specialists in the field of cloud-native technologies and has therefore been on the lookout for a partner who can assist them with highly qualified personnel. A situation analysis revealed that an Enterprise Kubernetes platform would be required as the basis for operating HBL’s banking solution. A closer look at HBL's surrounding systems led further to the decision to use Red Hat OpenShift.
