Swisscom has embarked on their Service Mesh journey several months ago. In this talk we present the current approach, lessons learned and challenges one encounters when establishing Service Mesh at scale in an enterprise and telco environment.

SBB rolled out HashiCorp Vault Enterprise across the organization at the beginning of 2022. Over the past year, the focus has been on getting as many teams and services on board as possible. In this session, we will present how we are driving the Vault adoption and its challenges. Learn how we promote integrations, manage new demand, foster knowledge and steer the rollout.

SPEAKERS
Romain Silvestri is a computer science graduate that is very interested in security topics and how they can be applied to Kubernetes clusters. He worked as a Kubernetes clusters manager and assistant for his former school, being responsible for the deployment and evolution of clusters for researches and studies. He then discovered service mesh through his master thesis and got very passionate about it.
Andreas Meister is passionate about software architecture, agile methods, Application Security and DevSecOps. He knows the craft of software engineering, having worked first as a developer and then as an architect before moving into the AppSec field.
